When PHP is the right choice
- You already have a working PHP application and the pragmatic move is to maintain and improve it.
- Your site runs on WordPress or a similar platform and you need it supported, not replaced.
- You need a small, content-driven site live cheaply and quickly, where a mature platform fits.
- A large, healthy PHP codebase with a team around it is usually worth keeping.

When we would suggest a different path
- For an ambitious new product, we would build it on a modern web stack rather than start fresh in PHP.
- If your PHP system is unmaintained, insecure or impossible to hire for, a staged migration is often the safer long-term move.
- If you need heavy AI or data work, that belongs in Python, with PHP handling what it already does.
